The race, which took place over two days, featured a mix of existing hare scramble trails and virgin hard enduro lines, with a challenging downhill section that measured nearly 2000 vertical feet. The event was a resounding success, with Canada's own Trystan Hart emerging as a celebrity among the local racing community. Hart, who is followed closely by fans and kids, was surprised to find that his US Hard Enduro peers were also well-known among the racers, highlighting the growing talent and passion for the sport in British Columbia. The Squamish Dirt Bike Association's dedication to building epic courses and executing a great event for their first year bodes well for the future of hard enduro in the region. The AMA National Hard Enduro Championship, presented by IRC Tire, will have a break before the Hollow Point Hard Enduro in August, while the AMA East Hard Enduro Regional Championship, presented by Klim, will continue with the River Monster Hard Enduro in July. The event's success and the growing popularity of dirt bikes in British Columbia suggest that the sport will continue to thrive in the region, with Hart inspiring future generations of racers.
